Default so, i hit lvl 20 (this is somewhat a pvp thread though)...

Hello again all! I recently hit level 20, and i am still stuck with shing jae's armor (forget which but it's +25 armor, really crappy for my level). I need help on figuring out what to do to get money for better armor so i don't get owned so much in pvp.

To not get owned in PvP, make a PvP character! Automatic max armor, any insignias/runes you already unlocked in PvE, and all the skills you unlocked too!

Try questing and do missions. Not only will it get you money but you can salvage crafting material for that nice new armor meaning you save money in the long run. Complete 5 quests and you get 5 tickets to get free superior salvage kits which you can sell for easy $ or use to get more expensive materials for free. It also will get you to Fort Aspenwood and the Jade Quarry so you can get more elite looking armor using faction points. Alternatively you can try farming bosses to get good greens and selling them.

What I would like to know is how did you get through the final mission on Shing Jea with only +25 armor? The bridge with the 2 bosses was a royal pain.

Do more quests on the first island, sell all your items, don't buy overpriced weapons from other people, and don't get ripped off selling some good items for low prices. A typical quest can give you some gold as well as monastery credit/imperial commendation to trade in, and you also get some gold/items along the way from monsters.
